The Gifted Basket opened its doors in the spring of 1998.  Best friends Carol Vocino and Heather Luttier decided to start the business after several years assembling baskets for their children’s school auction.  The baskets were a huge success and it was decided there was a need and a knack for such a business in West Palm Beach, and so it began.  

The friends built the business over the next several years while attending trade shows across the country.  Winning a first place blue ribbon for design at one of the conventions which followed up with a feature in a national trade magazine was a nice boost.

The common goal was to design beautiful gift baskets with excellent quality gourmet foods as well great packaging without using a lot of fluff.  We wanted our customers to get more product and less enhancements.  We also often used containers that became useful to the recipient after the food was gone, such as magazine racks, serving trays, wall shelves and beautiful planters.   It seemed the plan was working and the business continued to grow.

As well as gift baskets with gourmet food, wine and champagne we feature a beautiful line of baby and pamper products. The Gifted Basket has been working with many charitable organizations in the Palm Beach area including American Cancer Society, Adopt a Family, The Able Trust, JFK Medical Center Breast Cancer Luncheon, The Boy Scouts of America and Hospice of Palm Beach County as well as St. Ann, Holy Cross Pre School and Cardinal Newman High School.

Nearly nine years later and now in a 2200 s/f storefront/studio we are continuing to please our long standing and new clients, providing them with excellent customer service and a beautiful product which always reflects their best image. 

Carol took over the business in 2005.  She continues to carry on the tradition of designing custom gift baskets, offering the finest gourmet foods, wines and champagnes and always searching the market for new and innovative gifts.  We are Palm Beaches Premier Gift Basket Company.  We have expanded the business and are now designing beautiful floral arrangements and orchids as well.  Keep looking for new designs on our new web site!
